meet the marigold effect grantee partners!
Ten grants of $5,000 each awarded to non-profit organizations addressing the racial and gender wealth gaps.
Furthering our mission to advance economic mobility and build wealth among historically marginalized groups, The Marigold Effect is proud to announce the award of ten grants of $5,000 each to mission-driven organizations in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area.
The grantees were chosen out of 45 applications and evaluated on mission alignment, strength of their leadership team, and proposed use of the $5,000. We are incredibly grateful to our grantmaking committee volunteers, Romi Bhatia and Emily Livingston, who shared their time and expertise by reviewing applications and making investment recommendations.
The grant recipients employ varied approaches to close the racial and gender wealth gaps and advance economic justice.
